FOOD & DRINK TASTING

The food and drink served on the day will be a tasting of the Barakoa Nilo-Funk menu, as will be presented in June.

CRAFT SESSION

A session where attendees learn to craft their own beer, while engaging in a drunken lecture on the ontology of oontz.

IMMERSIVE POPUP BOXES

A series of immersive pop-up 'boxes' scattered throughout the venue.
Each box offers a unique experience, such as fashion showcases, interactive games and art galleries.
Relevant vendors will be present in the boxes.

LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES

A lineup of live musical performances, featuring a mix of indie artists, aligned vocalists, DJ sets, and an orchestral ensemble.

FOOD, DRINK & RITUALS

A communal dining experience where guests share a meal inspired by the Nilo-Funk menu, presented as Afro-Funk soul food. Dining will be accompanied by ritualistic elements and performances that enhance the sensory experience of the meal times.

INTERACTIVE THEATRE

A live theatre performance that shows the politics of love, fear, silence, and masking through audience interaction.

CONTEMPORARY ENSEMBLE

A contemporary music ensemble featuring vocalists, the DJ and orchestral musicians. This performance will blend traditional and modern sounds, creating a unique sonic experience that complements the ritualistic atmosphere of the event.

SILENT DISCO

A silent disco where attendees can dance to Barakoa's curated playlists played through wireless headphones, creating a unique and immersive experience.

PLAYBOX

A mini-game vending area where guests can play interactive games, challenge friends, and engage with playful ritual elements.

MUNCHBOX

A food vending pop-up offering creative, ritual-inspired bites, snacks, and drinks. Fuel for the body during the maskerade.

ZENBOX

A quiet healing and relaxation station. Guests can meditate, receive mini wellness sessions, or just pause to reset before rejoining the ritual.

CRAFTBOX

A hands-on creative station where guests can make masks, accessories, or small ritual objects. Exploration and creation encouraged.
